目前不銹鋼管有兩種制造管子的方式：無縫鋼管（seamless）、焊接或是電阻焊接（electric resistance welding，ERW）。
無縫鋼管是用擠型或(huo)是輥(gun)式(shi)穿孔方式(shi)+冷軋或(huo)冷拔相結合制造。
焊接(jie)或電阻焊接(jie)管(guan)(guan)（Electric resistance welding）是將金屬片(pian)折彎成管(guan)(guan)狀后，在(zai)邊(bian)緣部分焊接(jie)接(jie)合，因(yin)此(ci)在(zai)管(guan)(guan)的側面(mian)會有(you)焊接(jie)縫。
